Join them as they lead you through an exploration of the creation of artisan tofu and chocolate, and the many intriguing and surprising flavor pairings these two versatile ingredients bring to the table. You'll observe "how tofu is made" through a series of deconstructed tastings, tour Recchiuti's production kitchen in a private tour, and taste some unique sweet and savory creations concocted just for the event. About Minh Tsai Minh Tsai – Founder and Tofu Master As a child in Vietnam, Minh often took a morning stroll with his grandpa to the neighborhood tofu shack. The freshness and artisan-quality of the soymilk, tofu and yuba of his childhood eluded Minh for many years. Finally, in 2004, he founded Hodo Soy Beanery with the simple mission of making the freshest and tastiest tofu. Today, you can still find Minh at the farmers’ markets, hard at work encouraging people to try Hodo products. Before becoming Hodo’s Tofu Master, Minh spent 10 years in strategic consulting and finance. He graduated from Columbia University with a BA and Masters in Economic Development. When not at The Beanery, Minh enjoys spending time with his wife and grooming his two young boys to be future tofu masters.
