Our first experience with Recchiuti was a Christmas gift a few years ago. Our son lives in San Francisco and works in the Embarcadero Center. On this particular Christmas he brought home a 'small box' for his Dad's gift.

In my mind I could not image what would be in that 'small box' for his Dadd who he really loves and appreciates. When Dad opened the 'small box' (and he was warned) his Dad (and my husband) was HOOKED! Last year I enrolled my husband in the monthly gift from Recchiuti and he looked forward to his treat like a little child.

We now send Recchiuti for VERY SPECIAL occasions and my husband uses Recchiuti for business gifts. And believe me, we are doing our part introducing Recchiuti to our part of the world...Alabama. Even my daughter who did not like chocolate now loves Recchiuti.

This past holiday season, my husband received a Recchiuti Black Box as a business gift. We both thought to ourselves, another box of chocolates. After a couple of days, we decided to open it up and give it a try. What a surprise! We never expected that chocolates paired with star anise and pink peppercorns, or tarragon with grapefruit would be such matches made in heaven! We cherished the box for approximately a week. We soon had our favorites; mine is the Spring Jasmine Tea and my husband's is the Kona Coffee.

Now and then, my husband will surprise me with a sweet delivery. So, I set up little date nights for the two of us. After we put the kids to bed, I bring two glasses of red wine to the table along with the cherished Recchiuti Black Box. Even though my husband's favorite is the Kona Coffee, he always gives me the half with the gold leaf :-)
