At Recchiuti Confections, we go to great lengths to ensure our customers receive the freshest product in the best possible condition. We know there are less expensive ways to ship our product, but our first priority is that your product arrives in top condition. This is why we only send our products via FedEx whether the recipient is in Alaska or right here in California.
During the Cool Season (Nov 1 - April 30), orders are sent via 2nd Day Air, Monday-Wednesday. For faster service, orders may be shipped via Standard Overnight or Priority Overnight, Monday-Thursday.
During the Warm Season (May 1 - October 31), 2nd Day Air is not available. Orders are sent via Standard Overnight, Monday-Thursday (with ice when necessary). Priority Overnight is also available for Monday-Thursday ship dates.

All Recipients
- For orders sent via 2nd Day Air, we ship Monday - Wednesday.
- For orders sent via Ground, Standard Overnight, or Priority Overnight, we ship Monday - Thursday.
- Standard Overnight: arrives next business day; Priority Overnight: typically arrives next day by 12 PM.
- Orders placed after 11am (PST) will be shipped on the next available ship day.
- To limit time in transit to a maximum of two business days, orders are NEVER shipped on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
- We are unable to ship to PO boxes.
FedEx has permission to leave packages at the recipient's address if no one is there to sign for it; however FedEx may require a signature for delivery, in which case the recipient will need to follow up with FedEx. Recchiuti Confections is NOT responsible for packages stolen or damaged after they are delivered to the address specified by the customer. We suggest shipping to a daytime/business location when possible.
We offer FedEx's "Signature Required for Delivery" service. You can select this option on the checkout page for an additional $2 fee. If you select, "Signature Required for Delivery," your package will not be delivered unless it is signed for. If no one is present, FedEx will make two more attempts before they return the package to us. Recchiuti Confections will not refund purchases if the product is damaged or melted after the first delivery attempt or if it is returned to us by FedEx.
We realize that you may want to send a gift as a surprise; however, in order to prevent delays, we recommend you notify the recipient of the shipment prior to arrival.
Please double check shipping addresses(es) and preferred delivery date before submitting your order. Recchiuti Confections cannot be responsible for orders delayed or returned due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses (i.e. PO boxes) provided by the customer.
Greater San Francisco Bay Area Recipients
If the recipient's zip code begins with 94- or 95- you will have the option to send your package via FedEx Ground, Monday - Thursday. The delivery date is usually the day after shipment, though this is not a guaranteed service. To guarantee arrival the day after shipment, please upgrade to Standard Overnight (additional fees apply). Your package should arrive by 12 PM. We strongly recommend requiring a signature for delivery if you are shipping Priority Overnight. For pricing, please see the grid below.
Recipients Outside the San Francisco Bay Area
If the recipient's zip code is outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, ground shipping is not available.
Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii must be sent Priority Overnight.

When your order ships, you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number. If you believe your order has already shipped and you haven't received an email, contact us at customerservice@recchiuti.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you notice an error on your order, please notify us at customerservice@recchiuti.com or call 415.826.2868 as soon as possible. We will make every effort to fix the error before your order is shipped.
