Small-batch, seasonal confection!
Originally developed during Michael Recchiuti's pastry chef days, these thinly sliced Bartlett Pears are soaked in key lime juice before being dried and dipped in custom-blend semisweet chocolate. These paper-thin slices of fruit and fine chocolate are just as delicate as they are delicious and make the perfect light after-dinner treat, teacher's gift, or after school snack.
The Key Lime pears were perfection: just the right amount of fruity tartness in the pear, paired with the dark choc (pun intended) made these my new favorites! :-)
They taste sublime and never fail to delight those who receive them as gifts. Can’t wait to bite into one after our Thanksgiving dinner.
