We hope you and your loved ones are doing well. Here in San Francisco, we are working hard to ensure you can continue to send soothing chocolate moments to the ones you are thinking of most.
As you know, our confections are handmade and some require more hands-on-deck to create than others. Our top priority is keeping our team safe and comfortable, and because of this, you may notice some of our confections become temporarily unavailable in coming days. Rest assured this is only temporary and many of your favorite collections and creations will still be available for you to indulge in!
We’re taking the situation with COVID-19 very seriously. As a small business working closely with the public, we want to assure you that your health and the health of our staff is of the utmost importance and we are following the CDC's requirements and guidelines. Here are the precautionary measures we are reinforcing and implementing across our shops, office and kitchen.
Frequent and Thorough Hand Washing:
We are enforcing vigilant hand washing before and continuously throughout the day. Our team will also be wearing gloves when assisting customers and we are asking customers to use hand sanitizer if possible.
Sanitation and Cleanliness:
We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting our kitchen, office, and retail shops, with special attention to high-contact surfaces such as counter-tops, registers, computers, tables, and office supplies like pens. The use of gloves and hairnets in our kitchen is always mandatory and enforced.
Recchiuti Team Member Health:
All Recchiuti team members experiencing any flu-like symptoms must stay home to ensure their health and the health of the team members and customers they may interact with. All our team members also participate in daily temperature checks before beginning the work day.
As a small business, we rely on your patronage to keep our doors open. You can still send our loved ones a chocolate gift via our online shop or by shopping in-person at our Flagship Ferry Building store.
