Hi Michael! My name is Isaac and I worked at the SF Whole Foods around the Millennium. I met you at the store and worked elbow to elbow with you at catering events like Academy of Friends way back when. After living in the Bay Area I moved back home to Massachusetts and continued working for WFM and I worked for several years here with Jeff Mann, an old employee of yours. It’s a small world after all. Anyhoo, I’ve been wanting to get your confections for awhile, as my s.o. is something of a connoisseur, and last year your stock was depleted. It’s been a fun trip down memory lane. Your fruit pâté is exactly as I remember.
Just perfect caramel covered chocolates.
Originally developed during Michael Recchiuti's pastry chef days, these thinly sliced Granny Smith apples are soaked in key lime juice before being dried and dipped in semisweet chocolate. These paper-thin slices of fruit and fine chocolate are just as delicate as they are delicious and make the perfect light treat, teacher's gift, or after school snack.
"Adds sparkle to our day."
Made with toasted California almonds, thinly coated with our signature dark chocolate with a hint of burnt caramel, and finished with a light dusting of cocoa powder, we've created a perfectly snackable confection. We recommend trying these along with our other favorite dragée in our Dragée Sampler to have enough to share with everyone.
"This is the hostess gift that replaces a bottle of wine."
