These marshmallows have a nice crust to them, great flavor, and melt in your mouth texture. The website lists the shelf life as only a week, but at least in the dry weather of winter, mine have lasted longer than that and maintained great texture which surprised me. I didn't transfer them to a jar or anything - just kept them in the same packaging they came in (which is very cute, sleek packaging by the way - perfect for a gift).
I've been buying your marshmallows for something like 16 years now. Over the last few years I've been working on eating less sugar for health reasons, so now I still adore the marshmallow texture but they are somewhat too sweet. I wish there were a way to get somewhat less sweet version. I have your marshmallow recipe from your recipe book, but it's a lot of work to make myself!
Originally developed during Michael Recchiuti's pastry chef days, these thinly sliced Granny Smith apples are soaked in key lime juice before being dried and dipped in semisweet chocolate. These paper-thin slices of fruit and fine chocolate are just as delicate as they are delicious and make the perfect light treat, teacher's gift, or after school snack.
"Adds sparkle to our day."
Made with toasted California almonds, thinly coated with our signature dark chocolate with a hint of burnt caramel, and finished with a light dusting of cocoa powder, we've created a perfectly snackable confection. We recommend trying these along with our other favorite dragée in our Dragée Sampler to have enough to share with everyone.
"This is the hostess gift that replaces a bottle of wine."
