Our Dark Chocolate Pistoles are made with a blend of cacao from South America. They melt into rich, smooth chocolate perfect for creating chocolate sauce or as an indulgent hot chocolate.
Instructions for Making Hot Chocolate
Our recommended ratio is 2 parts boiling water to 1 part dark hot chocolate pistoles.
To make 2 espresso size portions, we suggest 1 cup of boiling water + 1/2 cup pistoles.
Directions: mix boiling hot water with pistoles and blend with an immersion blender (faster) or whisk by hand (takes time) in a stainless pitcher.
We recommend using water instead of dairy as the pistoles are already very rich. Milk can be substituted for water for those who prefer an even richer experience.
