About Shipping

**The holidays are a very busy time for us and our normal shipping schedule will be affected. We're working hard on making sure orders ship in a timely manner, but please note it may take us extra days to process and ship orders during this time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!**

Please refer to the shipping guidelines below before placing your order to ensure you receive your confections at your desired time.

We do not ship same day.
We do not ship Friday thru Sunday.

We do not ship to PO Boxes.

We do not ship internationally.
• During the summer months, overnight shipping is the only available service to areas with average temperatures above 80 degrees.
• During extreme heat waves, we recommend using Priority Overnight to ensure your chocolate arrives in the best possible condition.

San Francisco Bay Area Shipping Rates and Delivery Schedule

We are happy to offer lower shipping rates for orders being delivered in the San Francisco Bay Area! These rates apply to orders shipping to zip codes starting with 94-, 95-, and 96-. Shipping chocolate can be tricky! We work hard to ensure your order arrives on-time and in the best condition possible. That's why we always pack your orders with ice packs free of charge during warm months.

Tracking Your Shipment

You will receive an e-mail notification when tracking information is generated for your order.
There may be a delay between the time in which you receive your tracking information and when your order actually leaves our facility.

Your tracking information will update once your order has been picked up and scanned by our shipping carrier.

SHIPPING & FAQ TIPS

Do you Guarantee Delivery Dates and Time?
Winter storms, hurricanes, flooding; these are just a few reasons why our shipping carrier may experience delivery delays. Because there are some forces of nature that are out of our hands, we cannot guarantee delivery times once your order is out for delivery. We can, however, guarantee your order will ship on-time from our facility according to our shipping schedule above.

How do I track my order?
When your order ships, you will receive an email which includes your tracking number. If you have trouble tracking your order, please give us a call and we can assist you in contacting our shipping carrier.

Are ice packs included?
Because chocolate can be quite temperamental to ship, we include ice packs in orders going to warm climates and during warm spells at no charge to you!

Can I add Signature Service?
Our shipping carrier has permission to leave packages at the recipient's address if no one is there to sign for it; however, our shipping carrier may require a signature for delivery, in which case the recipient will need to follow up with the shipping carrier.
Recchiuti Confections is NOT responsible for packages stolen or damaged after they are delivered to the address specified by the customer. We suggest shipping to a daytime/business location when possible.
We offer 
our shipping carrier's Signature Required for Delivery service. You can select this option on the checkout page for an additional charge of $5.25. If you select Signature Required for Delivery, your package will not be delivered unless it is signed for. If no one is present, our shipping carrier will make two more attempts before they return the package to us.
Recchiuti Confections will not refund purchases if the product
is damaged or melted after the first delivery attempt or if it is returned to us by our shipping carrier.

Other Helpful Tips
Please double-check your order's shipping address before submitting your order. Recchiuti Confections cannot be responsible for orders delayed or returned due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses (i.e. PO boxes) provided by the customer.
• We realize that you may want to send a gift as a surprise. However, in order to prevent delays, we recommend you notify the recipient of the shipment prior to arrival. Also, we encourage you to include a gift note at checkout (for no additional fee) so that your recipient knows who the sender is.
• Shipping is applied to the pre-discounted total when using a promotion code.
If you notice an error on your order, please notify us as soon as possible at customerservice@recchiuti.com or toll-free at 800.500.3396. We will make every effort to fix the error before your order is shipped.
