Customer Service Associate
Recchiuti Confections is a high-end San Francisco-based artisan confectioner. Our handmade truffles and specialty confections have graced the pages of Food and Wine, Bon Appétit, The New York Times’ Wirecutter and other well-respected publications. We are dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial company looking for a Customer Service Associate (CSA) to assist our sales team with customer service, order processing, and administrative assignments during our bustling holiday season. The CSA is responsible for supporting all of Recchiuti Confection’s sales channels, with a strong focus on Wholesale, Corporate and Online.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The CSA’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Support the Sales & Customer Service Team with special projects for Wholesale,
Corporate, and Online sales channels
Answer and follow-up on customer service calls and emails
Troubleshoot and resolve customer service and sales issues
Process orders for Online and phone orders
Resolve shipping issues to ensure safe, on-time delivery
Coordinate special arrangements, updates, or last-minute changes to orders
Assist with printing marketing collateral and other reproduction needs
Greet visitors to our office and assist customers with will-call orders
Job Qualifications and Competencies
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
3+ years’ experience in a customer service or order entry role
Strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Reliable and punctual; must adhere to published schedule (standard hours will be
8:30am – 5:00pm, some weekend work may be required, schedule may change)
MUST be able to work the following schedule:
Full-time role: 40 hours per week, both weekdays and the weekends of 11/25 &
11/26, 12/2 & 12/3, 12/9 & 12/10 and 12/16 & 12/17.
Part-time role: 20-30 hours per week, every Monday and some additional
weekdays plus the weekends of 11/25 & 11/26, 12/2 & 12/3, 12/9 & 12/10 and
12/16 & 12/17.
High-touch customer service skills, and positive outlook
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience shipping via FedEx
