Fulfillment Manager, Recchiuti Confections Office, San Francisco
Position Overview:
The primary focus of this role is to oversee daily order fulfillment across all of Recchiuti Confections’ sales channels (eCommerce, Retail, Corporate, and Wholesale). This role involves coordinating closely with shipping materials vendors, freight carriers (FedEx and UPS), and internal teams (e.g. Operations, Production, Assembly/Packaging, the Ferry Building Store, and Customer Service).
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee daily eCommerce/Online order fulfillment (picking, packing, shipping or delivery) to ensure that all orders are received, packaged, and delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
Oversee daily order fulfillment for Recchiuti's other sales channels (Wholesale, Corporate, and C-Direct).
Make deliveries in company van to retail store at the Ferry Building on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Make occasional deliveries in company van to select Bay Area Wholesale, C-Direct and Corporate customers. Set weekly delivery schedule based on geographies and orders received - not applicable during Q4 and Valentine's Day.
Inventory management of shipping-related materials to prevent stock-outs
Procurement of shipping-related materials (boxes, tape, box liners, ice packs, bubble wrap, etc).
Receive materials, reconcile packaging slips, and approve vendor invoices.
Fulfill all orders on ShipStation that come from our Online channel once they have been picked up from FedEx and/or UPS.
"Quick Fulfill" orders in Fishbowl once they have been shipped out or been delivered (pertains to Corporate, C-Direct and Wholesale channels)
Manage full-time fulfilment and shipping staff|
Hire seasonal fulfilment and shipping staff during Q4 through Valentine's Day. This includes screening resumes, interviewing, hiring and training.
Job Skills and Requirements:
Strong computer skills, with ability to work in windows-based systems and knowledge of warehouse management software (e.g. ShipStation and Fishbowl)
Availability to work extended hours during holiday peak seasons (Q4 and Valentine's Day)
Ability to establish processes and systems for staff to ensure 100% accuracy on all orders
Strong attention to detail
1-3 year experience in fulfillment and shipping
Able to work independently and delegate tasks
Effective communication oral and written skills
Strong time management and ability to manage and prioritize tasks across multiple focus areas
Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with diverse group of people
Experience in the food industry preferred, but not required
English fluency and ability to speak Spanish a plus
This position requires standing on feet for many hours in a manufacturing setting, and requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds unassisted.
Requires valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must be able to work on-site at our San Francisco facility located in Dogpatch.
Must be able to work standard business hours year-round, and occasionally work extended hours + some weekends during major seasonal holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, Easter and Mother’s Day.
Compensation:
Full-time, exempt salaried role ($65K-$75K annual salary commensurate with experience)

Seasonal Customer Service Associate, Recchiuti Confections Office, San Francisco
Position Overview:
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) will assist our sales team with customer service, order processing, and administrative assignments during our bustling holiday season. The CSA is responsible for supporting all of Recchiuti Confection’s sales channels, with a strong focus on Corporate and Online. This is a seasonal role from 9/10/24 through the end of the year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The CSA’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Support the Sales & Customer Service Team with special projects for Corporate and Online sales channels
Answer and follow-up on customer service calls and emails
Troubleshoot and resolve customer service and sales issues
Process orders for online and phone orders
Resolve shipping issues to ensure safe, on-time delivery
Coordinate special arrangements, updates, or last-minute changes to orders
Assist with printing marketing collateral and other reproduction needsGreet visitors to our office and assist customers with will-call orders
Job Qualifications and Competencies
1+ years’ experience in a customer service or order entry role
Strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Reliable and punctual; must adhere to published schedule (standard hours will be 8:30am – 5:00pm, some weekend work may be required, schedule may change)
MUST be able to work the following schedule:

Full-time role: 40 hours per week, mix of weekdays and some weekend shifts (e.g. 11/30 or 11/31, 12/7 or 12/8, 12/14 or 12/15, and 12/21 or 12/22)

Part-time role: 20-30 hours per week, preferred availability on Mondays and some additional weekdays plus some weekend shifts (e.g. 11/30 or 11/31, 12/7 or 12/8, 12/14 or 12/15, and 12/21 or 12/22)
High-touch customer service skills, and positive outlook
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience trouble-shooting shipping issues with FedEx and UPS a plus
